ICED Rural Conference in Energy and Education

ICED Rural is back and bigger than ever. After two sold-out years, the 2025 edition of the Innovation Centre for Energy Development (ICED) Conference is moving to Affinity Place to welcome 300–500 leaders from across Canada and abroad—representing industry, government, academia, Indigenous organizations, and rural communities.

This year’s theme—Education and Energy—reflects the powerful shift happening across rural Canada as communities take ownership of their energy futures and talent pipelines.

Co-hosted by the Southeast Techhub, the Saskatchewan Indigenous Economic Development Network, Southeast College and the University of Regina. ICED Rural is more than a conference—it’s a movement.
