Live Music: tr willits

About This Event

Join Hartford Public Library for a special evening celebrating the release of Tom's (tr) newest album—all of us.

Singer-songwriter tr has built a dynamic career spanning performance, production, and arts leadership. Shortly after high school, he began touring as an opening act for Billy Joel and went on to share the stage with artists including Steven Tyler, The Mamas and the Papas,Peter, Paul and Mary, and Jesse Colin Young. This latest folk rock 11-song thematic album was written, performed, and recorded to explore community—how people come together, work together, and ultimately build the thread that connects us through love. This follows tr's last release, keep the faith.

With more than 200 songs to his name, tr’s work has been featured in film and television and recorded by other artists. Beyond performing, he has produced albums, led music and artist management companies, and co-founded Music and Poetry Synchronized (MAPS), bringing arts education to students across the Northeast and Puerto Rico.

A familiar presence in the region, tr has also taught songwriting in the Hartford community—making this performance at Hartford Public Library a meaningful return.

Event Highlights:

  • Live performance of new and favorite songs featuring tr's band
  • Insights and stories behind the music
  • Meet-and-greet opportunity
  • Record purchase and signing

Celebrate music, storytelling, and local artistry with us at the Library.
