Spellebration 2023
The Literacy Center of West Michigan will host our 30th annual Spellebration event on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 in person at Leona Rd. (1351 Leonard Street NW) in Grand Rapids.
We look forward to celebrating our community's efforts to bring about a just and vibrant West Michigan through the power of literacy.
This year's event honors:
Dr. Ken Fawcett, Former VP, Corewell Health Healthier Communities, with the Champion of Literacy Award
Barbara Rapaport, President, Real-time Perspectives, Inc., with the Ledy Award for Community Engagement
Penny Hoffman, Literacy Center Tutor, with the Marshall Pitler Volunteer of the Year Award
