2025 Fall Fundraiser: Anchored in Faith

About This Event

Join us on Saturday, November 1st from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, to help new believers become anchored in faith!

There is nothing more powerful than belonging to God! Our faith in God can anchor us through all of life’s storms, but relying on God takes practice. New believers need mentoring to cultivate this habit and maintain their faith.

FFICM team members devote themselves to cultivating the church leaders who evangelize and regularly interact with new believers, helping them to learn how to support new believers in learning the blessings and responsibilities of their new faith so they will have a firm foundation in their relationship with Jesus.

We want new believers to both reap the blessings of faith and also fulfill our responsibility to trust God and act in the ways He leads us to.

When we rely on God through faith, we can “do all things through Christ who strengthens us” (Phil 4:13, NIV). New believers in Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Southern Asia, especially those who are persecuted, benefit from the kind of coaching FFICM trainees provide. Our trainees help them understand their faith and gently lead them in relying on Jesus throughout any challenge they encounter.

Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”  He asks all of us to rely on Him and continue to obey even in the face of circumstances that are extremely difficult. It may even seem to fly in the face of logic to trust God and choose to be obedient to His call to do things like turn the other cheek, to serve God rather than money, speak the truth in love, and give our lives for others even under great duress. But when we have built a habit of consciously relying on Jesus and trusting Him, we can continue to follow Him through whatever comes from here to eternity.

For this year’s Fall Fundraiser, we want to celebrate together how being anchored in faith transforms our lives – and how we can also help give that gift to others!

At this year’s Fall Fundraiser, we will be raising money for…

  • Training and conferences, including three trainings in Ethiopia in the Fall, HBB conference, MBB training, and early 2026 trainings

  • Materials, including reprinting existing materials for trainees, and materials development

  • Staff, including women and youth ministry in Ethiopia, and part-time staff supporting Muslim background believers

  • Radio ministry and seed players

  • Mercy fund to respond to the urgent needs of staff, volunteers, and trainees

Doors to the event open at 4:30 pm for attendees to enjoy the exhibit hall. Dinner will begin at 5 pm and our program starts at 5:30 pm. If you are joining via Zoom, please plan to join us at 5:30 pm Pacific.
