After an amazing summer full of events and community connections, we’re excited to welcome the fall season! Keep reading for highlights, updates, and a look at what’s coming next.
DEA National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day – Coming This October!
On Saturday, Oct. 25, we will host a community DEA National Take-Back Day. This event provides a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription medications, keeping them out of our homes, our water, and our streets.
Join us at the Victor Village Hall parking lot to safely dispose of unused or expired medications. Every pill turned in helps prevent misuse and supports the well-being of our families, friends, and neighbors.
Thank you to our partners: Ontario County Sheriff's Office and Mead Square Pharmacy.
Looking for a space to express yourself and connect with others?
• Create & Connect is a family-friendly art program open to all ages • Letters & Lattes is a creative space for ages 15–22
Both programs are held at ArtSpace 36 in Canandaigua and offer a safe, welcoming environment to explore art, share ideas, and connect with like-minded people.

Ontario Cares Addresses Food Insecurity
Every month, we host a pop-up food pantry in partnership with Ontario County Public Health and Foodlink at the Town of Canandaigua Highway Department Barn.
We couldn't do it without our partners, staff, and volunteers!
You may have noticed some changes lately—our new look is officially here!
One of the main reasons for our rebrand was to create a cohesive identity for all our programs. We also merged everything into one website, making it easier than ever to explore our partnerships, programs, and upcoming events across the community.
Now, there’s one central website where you can find updated program information, see what’s coming up, and stay connected with everything happening at the Partnership for Ontario County.
Our mission remains the same: to create, support, and administer alliances that cultivate positive social change.
New look, new handles! Stay in the loop—follow us on social:

Red, White & Blue Celebration Recap
We had so much fun at our first-ever Red, White, and Blue event thanks to our amazing community! Highlights included a colorful start to the weekend on Saturday with our color run, plus goat yoga on Sunday, a crowd favorite.
We were thrilled to welcome so many community partners, wonderful vendors, and Veterans who joined us throughout the day. Guests enjoyed browsing local goods, listening to live music, connecting with organizations, and taking part in a fun raffle with great prizes.
Most importantly, the event brought people together in the spirit of celebration, support, and connection. We are so grateful to everyone who came out and made this day one to remember!

Summer of Growth: Youth Court Welcomes New Members
In August, we hosted a weeklong training camp for our newest Youth Court members. This past year brought one of our largest trainee classes ever, and we’re excited to keep growing. Looking ahead, we’re expanding our training to include even more topics relevant to today’s world.
Open to students in grades 7–12, Youth Court offers two training opportunities each year: an eight-week spring session and a one-week intensive summer session.
Referrals: Anyone can refer a youth to the Youth Court program. Respondents may be referred for issues such as truancy, shoplifting, school code violations, vaping, attendance concerns, or even serious offenses like bomb threats.
Over the past two years, every respondent who participated in Youth Court has not reoffended—a testament to the program’s impact and the power of peer-led accountability.
Epic Zone Kids Take on the County Fair
In July, our Epic Zone kids took a field trip to the Ontario County Fair! From tasty fair food to fun adventures, it was a day full of smiles, laughter, and memories.

In Memory of Joe Eddinger: Supporting Suicide Prevention
On Friday, July 25, the Joseph "EDGE" Eddinger Fourth Annual Memorial Golf Tournament took place at Clifton Springs Country Club, bringing together golfers, volunteers, and sponsors to celebrate Joe’s life.
The Eddinger family continues to honor Joe’s memory by donating proceeds from the tournament to our Suicide Prevention Coalition, helping raise awareness and strengthen the community of support for those facing life’s challenges.
We are grateful to everyone who participated, volunteered, or contributed. Your support makes this event meaningful and helps move us closer to a community where no one faces life’s struggles alone.
