St. Anthony Foundation of Charlotte, www.stanthonyfoundationofcharlotte.org a 501c3 non- profit organization, founded FESTA ITALIANA Charlotte www.festaitalianacharlotte.org as a charity event in 2006. It is now the area’s Premier Festival of the Finest Italian Food, Wine, and Beer. 

The 2023 18^th annual  FESTA, raised $20,000 for Nevins Center to benefit people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (www.nevinsinc.org). Over the past 18 years, FESTA has donated almost $400,000 to Nevins Inc.

The 19th Annual FESTA ITALIANA will take place again on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at 1pm and again in the beautiful outdoor and covered Gateway Village Promenade in 4th Ward Uptown. Over 5 hours of Live Stage Performances and the Best Italian Cuisine! And You help the Sweetest People Live Better Lives. Everyone is a Volunteer, so all proceeds after location overhead expenses go to Nevns Center to help Sweet People with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
