The Vagina Monologues 2025 Audition Form

STAR is thrilled to announce the return of The Vagina Monologues to Anchorage! 

After a 5-year hiatus, we are proud to present this groundbreaking play once again at the Bear Tooth TheatrePub on Friday, February 14 at 7:00 p.m. We are currently searching for our all-STAR cast and crew—could that be you or someone you know?

The Vagina Monologues introduces a diverse collection of female voices, exploring topics through the perspectives of women of various ages, races, sexual orientations, and backgrounds. This transformative play gives voice to a chorus of candid, humorous, poignant, and profoundly human stories, turning the uncertainty surrounding female anatomy into a powerful statement of empowerment. Witty and irreverent, yet compassionate and wise, this piece articulates some of humanity's deepest fantasies, fears, angers, and pleasures, advocating for a world where everyone feels safe, equal, free, and empowered within their bodies.

Auditions and crew positions are open to individuals aged 18 and older (no current high school students), from all backgrounds, and those who identify as women, including cisgender women, transgender women, and non-binary individuals. 

No experience is necessary!
