Wedgwood Christian Services has been dedicated to taking on the toughest challenges facing kids and families since 1960. Wedgwood’s State of the Child brings together local teens, community leaders and experts altogether for a half-day conference to talk about the challenges that kids and families are facing and offer insight into how to best provide support. We are thrilled to announce that this years keynote speaker is Dr. Angela Pharris PhD MSW. Dr. Pharris’ research focuses on child welfare and human service organizations, applying a Hope-Centered and Trauma-Informed framework.
