Out of Hand Theater brings you the Summer 2026 Shows in Homes production of Anterior Leverett's one-act play, Status. Members of an HIV/AIDS support group rally around a newly diagnosed man struggling with his status and what it means for the charmed life he’s created. This Shows in Homes production explores the AIDS crisis in Atlanta in partnership with AIDS Healthcare Foundation, the Black Leadership AIDS Crisis Coalition, and HIV Vaccine Trials Network. Up to 15 performances in living rooms, churches, and event spaces across Metro Atlanta paired with cocktail parties and conversation with our community partners. 

Show Run: 
Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 2pm & 8pm, and Sunday at 5pm

The office and the meeting space where the show will take place is on the fourth floor. The floor can be accessed from the parking lot by entering the elevator and taking it to the fourth floor.
