Cancer Hope Bag

Packed with items that patients need in order to thrive at home after leaving the hospital or to help comfort them during their stay, including a fluid intake cup, weekly medication organizer, lip balm, fleece blanket, journal, adult coloring book and colored pencils. All of these items are considered “extra touches” to help these patients in their time of need.

Mobile Wellness Days of Caring

Provides support for Community Days of Caring that coincide with Mobile Wellness. This could include but is not limited to food, bottled water, hygiene products, diapers, formula, and any other needs that may be identified.

Pink Up

One hundred percent of donations go directly to fund Pink Up. Each $100 raised means a mammogram, as well as screenings for major cancer types, for one area woman in need at no cost.

CancerCare

The CancerCare fund helps cancer patients in need with nutritional supplements, medicine, equipment, transportation and lodging.

Families

Parents With Hope

This fund provides transportation, lodging and daycare to families with infants in the Level III NICU.

Share Fund

Supports the Family BirthPlace's patients and families who suffer miscarriage or an infant or toddler death by providing trained grief counselors, bed-side companions, resource materials, memorial services and memory boxes during and after the patient's stay.

Reach Out and Read

Reach Out and Read gives young children a foundation for success by incorporating books into pediatric care and encouraging families to read aloud together. Reach Out and Read is a program that supports language development by providing: Age-appropriate advice from providers about reading to children; A free book for each child at regular checkups, from six months through five years; A literacy-rich waiting room area;

The CardiacCare fund provides assistance with cardiac rehabilitation and other necessary services and equipment for patients unable to afford them.

The Chapel Fund

Provides necessary supplies for and improvements to the hospital chapel and pastoral care.

Grateful Patient

Gifts are made in recognition of staff at Saint Francis Medical Center. Donors can be recognized as an individual or a team. Donors can recognize individuals or entire departments for a job well done.

Hospice

Saint Francis Medical Center's Hospice Services Program is devoted to offering ongoing at-home care to terminally ill patients and their families. The program will always provide care, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay and donations are appreciated.

ICU Fund

The ICU Fund provides items of comfort to patients and families experiencing intensive care stays.

Sister Esther Fund

Created by Saint Francis Auxiliary in 1978, this fund assists Saint Francis patients and their families who need transportation, clothing, overnight lodging or necessary medicines and equipment for better comfort and recovery. The fund honors the late Sister Mary Esther Coffey, a longtime Saint Francis nurse who dedicated her life to giving comfort and hope to patients during times of fear and despair.

Where People Come First

Supports projects that positively impact workplace culture and morale within Saint Francis Healthcare System through colleague recognition programs, colleague engagement programs, testing or implementing innovative employee suggestions, leadership development and training and team building activities.

Caring Fund

The mission of the Saint Francis Medical Center Caring Fund is to assist colleagues who demonstrate need and who are experiencing an unexpected financial emergency.
