The St. Johns County Parks and Recreation “Just Tri It” Kids Triathlon is a growing youth athletic event that encourages confidence, healthy lifestyles, and community connection through swimming, biking, and running. The event is fundraised and supported by the St. Johns County Parks Foundation, the official nonprofit partner of St. Johns County Parks & Recreation.
Event Details Date: Sunday, April 26, 2026 Time: 8:00 AM Location: Solomon Calhoun Community Center Ages: 5–14 Capacity: Up to 300 participants
In 2025, more than 80 children participated, with the event capped at 100 registrations. For 2026, the triathlon is expanding significantly—allowing up to 300 youth participants, improved race organization, professional timing support, and the addition of vendors and community organizations, transforming the event into a true county-wide family experience.
All proceeds raised through sponsorships, vendors, and community support directly benefit youth recreation opportunities through St. Johns County Parks & Recreation.
