National Public Lands Day - Choose Your Own Adventure!

About This Event

Saturday, September 26th, is National Public Lands Day! Throughout the month of September we are encouraging you to get out and explore public lands within our watershed, and we would love for you to join us for a choose-your-own-adventure day at one of our favorite local parks to help culminate the Protect Our Public Lands Passport Campaign.

Join us for one, two, or all three scheduled events at Tillie K. Fowler Regional Park and check the location off on your passport! At the beginning of each activity, we will share with you a bit about our local public lands and why they are so important to conserve, especially in relation to our beloved St. Johns River.

Check out the schedule below, and when you RSVP for the event, be sure to select which ones you plan to attend. (For each activity, please meet outside the nature center. When you enter the park from Roosevelt Blvd, follow the road all the way to the end where you will find ample parking, a nature center, and restroom facilities.)

8:00 AM - 9:30 AM: Bird Walk with Kate Zeray from Duval Audubon

10:00 AM - 10:45 AM: Meditation and yoga flow with Noelle Barnes from The Naham Experience

11:00 AM - 12:30 PM: Nature journaling walk with Dryden Mills from St. Johns Riverkeeper
