This Valentine’s Day Week we are going to be showing our appreciation to someone who is important to many people in our federation. Her name is Mrs. Rita Stolt. She is a former teacher at St. Paul Lutheran School in Bloomer. She is struggling with Pancreatic cancer and so this week you are going to be given the opportunity to donate to her cause.
The reason we are doing this is simple: God calls us to love one another. There are countless examples in the Bible where Jesus helped those who were sick and hurting. He calls us to do the same. So as you go along in your week remember the words of Jesus in John: “A new commandment I give you: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, so also you are to love one another.” (John 13:34b)
