Our Stork Pile Project is designed to help new mothers obtain the essentials needed in the first few weeks and beyond after arriving home with their newborn. Our League works with BayCare The Women's Hospital in Winter Haven and AdventHealth in Haines City to make sure the items we are sending are most beneficial to the new Mother and baby. The items are arranged in a laundry basket and sent home with the mothers selected by the hospital based on need. Our decided to use a laundry basket was to provide a safe place for baby to sleep and we felt it would receive the most use for years to come!
