About This Event
Join us as we look closely at the hidden movement of water and take a creative journey.
In summer water brings us such delight. Lakes, oceans, rivers, ponds, even sprinklers. What more can we come to know about this wondrous clear substance?
In this inspirational workshop, we will open our eyes and senses to the remarkable properties of water in both a natural stream environment outdoors - and then in the studio that will be staged for exploration, with hands-on science and art activities. Become inspired and have fun creating when the materials from the water science turn into an art-making session!
This workshop will also give water a voice. We will explore what water needs to support life, and how we can take part in keeping it healthy.
A Rare Opportunity!
This workshop is inspired by the work of Theodor Schwenk, founder, Institute for Flow Sciences, Germany, and taught to us by water scientist and educator Jennifer Greene, of the Water Research Institute of Blue Hill Maine. In 2019 we taught a sci/art workshop in partnership with Jennifer Greene at the North American Biodynamic Agriculture Association Conference
We invite you to join for this very special opportunity to know water in new ways!
