❄️ Finding Warmth in Winter thru Fiber Arts
For Ages: 8 - 12
5 week session
Tuesdays: Feb. 24, March 3, 10, 17, 24
4pm - 6pm

✨ Explore Nature & Learn Hand-skills! ✨
Each class begins with share time before heading outdoors in search of winter inspiration. Then it’s time for art-making and creative expression in the warmth of the cabin. We’ll create with plant and animal fibers, examine the fabrics that we wear, upcycle clothing, and enjoy social time while learning hand-work skills like sewing, needle-felting, and even making our own mittens!
This class will be led by textile artist, Ketti North, who has taught sewing, needle felting, and fiber arts for 20 years. Ketti has a background in fashion design and is excited to combine her love of nature with hand-work skills.
Each week, your child will:
- Watch the workings of nature change over time
- Stitch, sew, and needle felt inspired by our nature discoveries
- Practice fine-motor skills with a variety of materials and tools
This is the place for children to get outside and explore, work on fine motor skills, and let their imaginations grow!
Is your child stitch-ready? No experience is necessary, however the ability to sit and focus on handwork is important for this series.

🌱 Spring Earth Art After School
For Ages: 7 - 12
8 week session
Tuesdays – April 7 - May 26
4pm - 6pm
$360 for the 8 week session

✨ Explore Nature & Create Art! ✨
In this class, children recharge after school while spending time outdoors and in the studio creating with natural and fine art materials, all in a community that values caretaking of our Earth.
Each week, your child will:
- Watch the workings of nature change over time
- Let their questions guide them
- Make art related to our discoveries
- Learn new skills with a variety of materials and tools
This is the place for children to get outside, be creative and let their imaginations grow!
