About This Event
GEEARS: Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students is excited to announce the ninth annual Strolling Thunder. This kid-friendly event offers families from around Georgia the opportunity to meet personally with elected officials and discuss the joys and challenges of raising young children. We’re bringing along our little ones in their strollers to send a clear message: To build strong families, vibrant communities, and a prosperous state, our lawmakers must prioritize families with young children.
We are excited to once again offer partnership and sponsorship opportunities for Strolling Thunder and are inviting your organization to join us.
To be included in the marketing materials, you must commit by January 5, 2026.
The Strolling Thunder capitol day will take place on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
For individual participants, Strolling Thunder includes a virtual training session before the event, a morning session, a visit to the Capitol to speak with legislators, a legislative lunch, and many kid-friendly activities.
