Student Impact Basketball 2026 - 2027

Since 2000, Student Impact has proudly hosted the Westfield Recreational Basketball League for 7th–12th grade students, bringing together more than 350 players each year to share in the joy of the game.

Our league is about more than basketball. We’re creating a place where students can compete, connect, and belong. Sportsmanship, teamwork, personal growth, and community are at the heart of the league — and every Friday night, players, families, coaches, and friends come together for one of our favorite Student Impact traditions.

Games are played at Pacers Athletic Center (PAC) at Grand Park during the winter season. Players can expect recreational basketball in an environment where having fun, building relationships, a little competition, and growing as a teammate matter just as much as the final score.

2026–27 SEASON SCHEDULE

The season will kick off in November, with player evaluations on Friday, November 6, the first practice on Friday, November 13, and games beginning Friday, November 20.

Games are anticipated to take place on Friday evenings, with the season running through February. Our regular-season schedule will include games on the following dates:

• November 20 and 27

• December 4 and 11

• January 15 and 29

• February 5 and 12

A note about the holiday break: Each season, we anticipate a few weeks off in December due to a longstanding tournament hosted at PAC and scheduled court resurfacing. With how the holidays fall on the calendar this year, the break will be longer than usual. We do not anticipate games on December 18, December 25, January 1, or January 8.

The good news is that we are still planning for 10+ regular-season games for boys and 6+ regular-season games for the girls, consistent with past seasons, and anticipate offering the same number of games — if not more — than in previous years. With access to all eight courts each Friday night, we’re working to maximize playing opportunities while accommodating the facility schedule and holiday calendar.

Final game times and any additional season details will be shared with registered families as the schedule is finalized.
