Summer Camp Ages 13 - 17

All camp programs are held at our shelter, which is located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312.

You child must be within the 13 - 17 year age range during their week of camp. 

2026 Summer Camp Teen Sessions

July 27 - 31, 2026   OR    August 3 - 7, 2026

TEENS CAN ONLY SIGN UP FOR 1 WEEK OF CAMP. 

This camp is designed for teens, ages 13 – 17, that are interested in learning more than the basics.  Teens will learn about positive dog training techniques, working in the shelter and a small amount of veterinary care.  We will spend a good amount of time interacting with large dogs, cats and other small animals.  Your teen should feel comfortable with all animals and show a strong interest in learning more about them.

Camp runs from 10 am until 3 pm daily.

Cost for a week of teen camp is $350.00 which includes a camp shirt and pizza lunch on Friday.

Cancellation policy: A full refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee (per child), will be issued if the cancellation is requested 2 weeks before the start date of the camp registered for.

***Please be sure you register for the week of your choice as all camps fill up quickly and switching weeks is usually not possible.
