Summer Camp Ages 13-17 (2024)

All camp programs are held at our shelter, which is located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312.

To allow for as many kids as possible to attend camp, kids may attend only ONE week of camp during the summer.

2024 Summer Camp Teen Schedule

Week of July 29th - August 2nd

Week of August 5th - 9th

This camp is designed for teens, ages 13 – 17, that are interested in learning more than the basics.  Teens will learn about positive dog training techniques, working in the shelter and a small amount of veterinary care.  We will spend a good amount of time interacting with large dogs, cats and other small animals.  Your teen should feel comfortable with all animals and show a strong interest in learning more about them.

Camp runs from 10 am until 3 pm daily which includes a camp shirt and pizza lunch on Friday. Cost for a week of teen camp is $335.00.

Cancellation policy: A full refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee (per child), will be issued if the cancellation is requested 2 weeks before the start date of the camp registered for.

***Please be sure you register for the week of your choice as all camps fill up quickly and switching weeks is usually not possible.
