Get ready to spice up your summer with Mobile Ballet at a sizzling new event!
Summer Salsa Night will be a sensational evening featuring Latin-inspired cuisine at Dauphin’s, followed by dessert, drinks, and salsa dancing at Las Floriditas!
The community is invited to join us and celebrate the kickoff of Mobile Ballet’s 2024-2025 Season at this special event sponsored by Aloha Hospitality. Along with delicious food and drinks, attendees will enjoy salsa lessons, a dance contest, and performances (with a few surprises!) throughout the evening.
Don't worry if you're new to salsa! Mobile Ballet’s artistic team, husband and wife Israel Rodriguez and Katia Garza, will lead salsa lessons to teach you some basic steps and get you ready to hit the dance floor. Israel’s own roots are in Cuba, and his fun salsa lessons in recent months at Las Floriditas have been a huge hit. Even if you’re a beginner, you’ll get to experience the passion and excitement of salsa and go home at the end of the night with new moves and confidence.
Summer Salsa Night will take place at the RSA Trustmark Building in downtown Mobile at two of the city’s finest restaurants, with the breathtaking panoramic view at Dauphin’s on the 34th floor and Las Floriditas, the iconic Cuban speakeasy in the vault.
As a fundraiser for Mobile Ballet, proceeds from this event will help us fulfill our mission to provide world-class performances for our community, the highest quality dance training, and impactful educational programs for children of all ages.
