Nourishing Circle 7/28/26

About This Event

Meeting day: Tuesday
Dates: July 28, 2026
Time: 5:00pm - 6:30pm ET
Facilitator: Stefanie Sacks
Location: Virtual
Theme: Self Care

Description:

Join Stefanie Sacks, MS, CNS, CDN—Culinary Nutritionist, author of What the Fork Are You Eating, founder of WTFork.com, a digital community devoted to food, nutrition, and cooking without the B.S., and former Green Circle participant—for a grounded, compassionate exploration of our relationship with nourishment. Together, we’ll look at how lived experiences and trauma shape what and how we eat, and how chronic illness can become part of our personal nourishment narrative. This session invites curiosity rather than judgment, and reflection rather than rules. Through thoughtful conversation, Stefanie will share small, meaningful shifts that can lead to lasting change—practical insights you can begin using right away to support your health and well-being. This is a safe, supportive space, designed to foster connection, understanding, and agency. You’ll leave with a renewed perspective, concrete tools, and a curated resource list to support your journey beyond the session.

1. Opening reading
2. The Family Dinner writing activity + share
3. Trauma, Attachment, Dysfunctional Eating Behavior, + Chronic Illness
4. The Small Changes that Make the Big Difference writing activity + share
5. Finding Solutions to the Challenges discussion
6. Resources

All summer workshops will have a component of Circle, and participants with or without Circle experience are welcome.
