Sunrise Haven invites you to our 2026 Annual Meeting: Embracing Humanity.

Christian Science has always understood that love is an action. Caring for our neighbors is not just a sentiment, it is something Christ Jesus modeled and we do, with our hands, our presence, and our prayers. This meeting is an opportunity to grow in that practical expression of love.

Sunrise Haven’s Journal-listed Christian Science nurses will share the skills and wisdom they have developed through years of caring for others.

Three accessible and valuable workshops will be offered:

MOBILITY: How to help someone move safely and with dignity. These gentle techniques are simpler than you might expect, and knowing them makes all the difference when a friend or family member needs support.

NOURISHMENT: How to help people eat well and enjoy food, even when physical challenges get in the way. Delicious nourishment is practical care, and it is something all of us can offer.

INSPIRATION: How to prepare ourselves prayerfully before we step in to help. This is the spiritual foundation that makes Christian Science care distinct, and we get to cultivate it together.

These skills are for everyone. If you have a willing heart, you belong in this room. You do not need any special background to participate, and children are warmly welcome. There is something here for every age and every stage of experience.

After the workshops, please stay for a Meet and Greet with our Christian Science nurses and fellow attendees. It is a wonderful chance to make connections, ask questions, and leave feeling inspired and encouraged.
