About This Event
The first rule of Supper Club is that we don’t talk about Supper Club. Just kidding—the truth is we won’t stop talking about Supper Club. This isn’t your average community potluck. It’s where you’ll meet the farmers behind your favorite market finds, swap recipes with fellow food enthusiasts, and become part of a community that’s shaping Boulder County’s food future. Whether you’re a seasoned home chef or a hungry beginner, you’ll find yourself among friends who share your passion for local food.

Here’s how you can join us:

- Prepare a dish to share that highlights our seasonal ingredient
- Review our F.A.Q. to get acquainted everything you need to know
- Come ready to serve, connect, and be nourished
Winter Seasonal Supper Club Theme: Mushrooms
Join us on Thursday, February 19th for our first Seasonal Supper Club of the year. This season's theme will be the year-round local food legend that is the mushroom. These picky little things demand the perfect conditions, meaning they are often grown indoors in temperature-controlled climates—and lucky for us, that means we get to enjoy them all year long. Supper Club Tip: Get creative! Mushrooms can be incorporated in so many dishes. Add mushrooms to stir fries and soups, bake them into a tart, or stuff 'em and serve them as an appetizer... what can't they do? For those craving a sweet treat, a batch of Lion's Mane hot chocolate or just cleverly decorated mushroom cookies would certainly do the trick.
F.A.Q.
What do I need to bring?
To get the most out of your experience, we ask that you bring:
- A dish to share, featuring our seasonal ingredient. We recommend anywhere from 6-10 servings, but bring whatever you are able to contribute.
- Plates, utensils, and cups. Help us keep this event waste free by bringing your own dinnerware. You might want to add a to-go container to your list, too, to take home any leftovers!
- BYOB. Whether you’re a glass of wine at dinner person, an IPA connoisseur, or simply need your water to have a bit of sparkle, we ask that you please bring your own beverage.
In exchange, we’ll provide the venue as well as the promise of good company.
Are kids allowed as this event?
Supper Club welcomes it’s future farmers and leaders to join us, though we won’t have any kids’ specific programming for the youngins.
How do I find out about future Supper Club events?
This year, we’ve made it simple to mark your calendars for 2026 Supper Club:
- Winter: 2/19
- Spring: 5/14
- Summer: 8/20
- Fall: 11/12
Supper Club always takes place from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. You can also sign up for email updates using this form or contact Frankie Ryder, Director of Marketing & Development, at fryder@bcfm.org.
How did Seasonal Supper Club start?
The BoCo Seasonal Supper Club was born out of the very ideals it seeks to uphold: neighbors looking to connect over local food. A longtime friend of the market, Annie Brown reached out to Boulder County Farmers Markets with the idea for building community through a Seasonal Supper Club. Today, the club is a collaboration between BCFM, Annie Brown, and Shoshana Romer. It would not be possible without their dedication to cultivating meaningful community spaces and gracious volunteer efforts!
