Holding Space: Yoga for Grief

Registration ends Thursday, 03/05/2026 11:59am EST

Forget-Me-Not Baskets is partnering with Flex Yoga Wooster to bring you this new supportive tool for your grief journey.

Flex Yoga is inviting bereaved parents to support their mind and body.  This gentle vinyasa practice offers slow, supportive movement guided by the rhythm of the breath.

You'll be invited to explore simple, accessible shapes with an emphasis on listening to your body and choosing what feels supportive in each moment. Options will be offered throughout, including rest, modification, or stillness. There is no expectation to move in any particular way - only an invitation to notice sensation, breath, and ease as they arise. This practice centers presense, self trust, and moving at your own pace.
  • No experience necessary
  • Your loss can be recent or years ago (we welcome all bereaved parents and grandparents)
  • Borrow a mat or bring your own.
  • We encourage you to bring a water bottle. They do have a water dispenser.
  • This event is sponsored by Forget-Me-Not Baskets, but you will meet at Flex Yoga and this is your own practice. We will not have support group during this event.
  • All women and men are welcome ages 16+
  • You must register to attend.
  • Flex Yoga is located on the second floor. The entrance is located around the corner from Sure House Coffee, Near Apple Creek Bank. Enter those doors and go up the stairs.
