Stephen spent 17 years overseas in Scotland and Spain in both church planting and creative access media roles. Halfway through that time he met and married Kelly who was working on a church planting team in Spain. He has a special interest in movements in the Middle East and North Africa.
Stephen sees his video production role with Sixteen:Fifteen as a continuation of his desire to see the worship of Jesus multiplied by encouraging US churches in their missions visions. He's thankful he can assist Sixteen:Fifteen as they coach churches in fulfilling their calling by sending missionaries to the hardest places.
Stephen and Kelly have two young daughters who were born in Spain. Kelly homeschools them when they are not creating shows and dances for family viewing. The Irwins live in Richmond, Virginia.
Stephen is supporting our team by producing The Mission Matters podcast and filming for our upcoming digital curriculums of The Mobilized Church workshop, When Everything is Missions, and God's Heart for the Nations.
