What is This Event?
Jewish tradition celebrates spiritual joy and community through festive meals rich with ritual and storytelling. Shabbat with Friends NM invites you to experience our Taste of Shabbat, a narrated Sabbath feast that combines a delicious meal food with insights about the rituals, customs, and concepts that inform this ancient meal of table fellowship. Led by Rabbi Dov Gartenberg of Shabbat with Friends, guitarist and singer, Judah Horowitz will share Sabbath table melodies going back centuries that celebrate poetically the physical and spiritual joys of the Sabbath day.
The meal is catered by local caterer, Sunday at Grams and follows basic kosher guidelines, The menus features salmon along with traditional Sabbath foods such as challah. wine, matza ball soup, kugel, bobka, and other favorites.

Cost: Pre-registration is required by Thursday 4/8/26 at 1pm.
$35 for adults
$25 for seniors (65+)
$18 college age students
$10 children (ages 6–15)
Free for children under 6
