Yoga-Vinyasa Flow of Talasana

150 Movements Guided by the Breath

Join yogin and breathwork adept, Sri Swami Asimananda Giri, for a guided Talasana-yoga-vinyasa workshop. This 3.5-hours workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn the foundational Himalayan movement techniques that are led by deep breath from a traditional monk trained in the Sanskrit-based lineage of the Himalayan siddhas.

Designed for all levels of yoga practitioners and those seeking to deepen their flow vinyasa practice, this immersive session on Tāl̥āsanam will explore the principles and benefits of standing pose movements superimposed on the Ujjayi breaths. The 75 inhalations and 75 exhalations of this Yoga-vinyasa-krama contain 150 postural positions grouped in Vinyāsa segments. They serve as foundational tools for postural balance, physical strength, flexibility, mental clarity and experience of stillness.
