Teach a Community to Fish with Jules & Golden Sardine

About This Event

This Fall, join us for an evening of delectable food, wine and community in support of 18 Reasons’ mission. Our fall fundraiser, Teach a Community to Fish, brings together a small group of Bay Area neighbors for a one-of-a-kind pizza party hosted inside a private home in Parnassus Heights, where every bite and every pour helps empower our community with the confidence and creativity needed to buy, cook & eat good food every day!

This isn't your typical fundraiser. It's hands-on and social, a standing, mingling kind of night where the kitchen is the heart of the room and the people around you become friends over a shared pizza from Jules, a cherished San Francisco favorite.

The Evening:

Guests are greeted in the courtyard with light bites and sips by Golden Sardine, San Francisco’s favorite wine bar will be there for a pop-up style wine moment, pouring thoughtfully curated wines alongside a spread of seasonal snacks,

Dinner starts inside, with Chef Max of Jules Kitchen at the wood-fired pizza oven. Guests slowly move inside where the magic of good food continues. This is an open, standing-service dinner - no assigned seats, not too formal - where everything comes straight from the kitchen to your plates. Chef Max and his team fire pizzas to order while sides and salads make their way around the room, everything served family style.

On the menu - Guests will choose from a rotating selection of four to five pizzas, each with the blistered, crispy-yet-chewy crust that Jules pizza is known for. Pair this all with the wine program curated by Jules.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate gluten-free or vegan requests for the pizzas.

Location

A private home in Parnassus Heights, San Francisco. The exact address will be shared with ticketed guests 72 hours before the event.

Ticket Price: $218-418

All proceeds support 18 Reasons and our free community programs - Food as Medicine, Nourishing Pregnancy & Cooking Matters. We can’t wait to break bread (and pizza crust!) with you!
