Oregon City Teddy Bear Parade

A Beloved Community Tradition for Nearly 30 Years

Join us for the Oregon City Teddy Bear Parade, a heartwarming hometown tradition that celebrates our local heroes while spreading comfort to children in crisis. For nearly three decades, this joyful event has brought our community together to honor first responders and collect NEW teddy bears and stuffed animals for children facing difficult moments.

The parade is a lively, one-hour processional along a 1.10-mile route, filled with fun floats, music, and all the sights and sounds that make this an Oregon City family favorite.

Every donated bear is distributed to law enforcement agencies, fire departments, emergency rooms, hospitals, children’s centers, and shelters throughout Clackamas County. These stuffed animals are then placed in the arms of children who need comfort during times of crisis offering reassurance, warmth, and a smile when it matters most.
