Terri, our Family Services Social Worker has returned to Israel this May as an extension of Furnishing Families International! She continues her heart to serve and love families, support soldiers in the kibbutzes and on the Gaza envelope and Israel northern border, and all other organic opportunities that God creates.

As a veteran 30+ years social worker, she continues to support the work that is so beautifully done through the Israeli community. She has met with multiple social workers, Israeli community leaders, and local kibbutz leaders to understand resources and emotional support needed due to the aftermath of October 7th. Since last year, she has continued to collaborate with Israeli families in trying to provide the support services needed for them and will continue this work into the future.

She will be in Israel and the Middle East for two 3 month intervals in 2025 in accordance with Israeli requirements.

Nearly all of these photos are from Terri's first trip to Israel in December of 2023 for the Hope and Healing Tour through FIRM (Fellowship of Israel Related Ministries), an organziation that partners with 70+ different organizations throughout the nation of Israel. On this trip, Terri's team helped soldiers and refugee families and children.

Most notable was her visit to Be'eri after the millitary assault had just occured on October 7th 2023, where Israel sustained over 1200 casualties, and 240 hostages were taken. It was the most concentrated attack on Jews since the Holocaust.
