Tuesday and Thursday, 2:30 – 4:00 PM ET: June 18, 23, 25, 30, July 2
Course Goals: In just five sessions, students will learn to recognize and read the Yiddish alef-beys, developing the skills needed to decode printed Yiddish words and texts with confidence.
Course Tools: We’ll use real-life examples such as Yiddish street signs, posters, book covers, and engaging worksheets designed to reinforce letter recognition and pronunciation. All materials will be provided by the instructor.
Additional Info: No prior knowledge of Yiddish or the Yiddish alphabet is required.
