About This Event

Presented by The Alcove and GatherWealth

Planning with Purpose is a free workshop for women and gender expansive people who want to feel more confident, informed, and in control of their financial future.

Financial planning isn’t one-size-fits-all, and the traditional financial world hasn’t always been built with everyone in mind. Women and gender expansive people often navigate financial lives shaped by different circumstances: career interruptions for caregiving, longer retirements to fund, changing family structures, and the need for legal and financial plans that reflect chosen family and individual wishes.

Estate planning attorney Susan Gershkoff, Esq. and Sean Reilly, CFP® will team up to break down the topics people most often put off, from retirement readiness to tax planning, in clear, practical terms.

About the Facilitators

Susan Gershkoff is a trust and estates solo practitioner with over 22 years of experience, serving clients in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Susan's goal is to create a completely customized estate plan for each person. With proper planning, each client's assets are managed and distributed, in accordance with their wishes and desires, in the most efficient manner and with the least likelihood of outside interferences.

Sean Reilly is a Managing Director at GatherWealth Investment Management. He has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years. Prior to starting Gather Wealth Management, he worked for 14 years at Morgan Stanley. In 2007, he earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation. In 2019, he earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) designation. He also holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) and the Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA®) designations.
