About This Event

The BCW only requires a registration fee of $40 per student for our woodworking classes. However, this cost does not reflect the actual cost of our programming.  The actual cost is approximately $40 per student per week.

Consider donating in appropriate proportion to your family's income level.

Shop class is for students in grades 7-12. The students work through 4 levels of woodworking curriculum to learn both woodworking techniques and tools. It takes approximately one semester to complete 1 level of the curriculum. The final level is designed to be repeated on any project the student selects as a way to continue to hone the skills they learned in levels 1-3. Our goal is to retain students until they graduate high school as the skills they gain here will make them employable!

For our Spring 2025 program, please choose 1 afterschool day a week among Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays 4:30-6:30pm. OR 1 homeschooling/alternatively-schooled day Monday 1:00-3:00, Tuesday 1:00-3:00, or Thursday 1:00-3:00

Classes start January 27th and will run until May 22nd.
