Butterfly Day

Do you want an affordable, meaningful experience for the whole family this fall? Join us for one (or all!) of our Fall Family Days, where you can have fun, spend time outside together, and learn about nature as a family.

Butterfly Day
October 24 | 9am-1pm | Cibolo Nature Center

Celebrate and learn all things butterflies during Butterfly Day in the Teaching Garden at Herff Farm! Stop by during the Farmers Market for family-friendly activities including butterfly tagging and OE testing, temporary tattoos and face painting, native wildflower seedballs, and more. This come-and-go event runs from 9am–1pm, so families are welcome to visit anytime throughout the morning. Registration is not required, with a suggested donation of $5 per participant.

Saturday, September 26: Family Birding Day (9-11am)
Saturday, October 17: Pumpkin Day (3-6pm)
Saturday, October 24: Butterfly Day (9am-1pm)
