Tea Gardening in Texas

About This Event

Discover the art and joy of growing your own tea right here in Central Texas. In this hands-on, inspiring class, you’ll learn how to work with more than 30 tea-worthy plants—from fragrant roses and native herbs to the traditional tea plant itself.

We’ll cover everything you need to grow with confidence, including a seasonal tea-planting calendar, harvesting techniques, simple processing methods, and best practices for storing your homegrown teas. You’ll also learn how to brew and blend your harvest into delicious, nourishing teas you can enjoy year-round.

Whether you’re a gardener, a tea lover, or simply curious about growing plants with purpose, this class will help you turn your garden into a living teacup.
