Designed to Dine 2026

About Designed to Dine

Designed to Dine returns bigger and better on Friday, May 1, 2026, with two signature events in one day, celebrating The Community Fund's 75th Anniversary.

Afternoon Tea

Designed to Dine Daytime Preview

Friday, May 1, 1:00 - 3:00 PM, Woodway Country Club

Join us for a relaxed afternoon preview of Designed to Dine 2026, with curated tea bites, drinks, and an early look at 25+ designer tablescapes — a sneak peek before the Evening Celebration, our main 75th Anniversary event, begins that night. Hear from our special guest speaker, Cece Bowman, founder of Cece Bowman Interiors and former designer for Kemble Interiors.

Cece will lead an inspiring conversation, exploring how color confidence and thoughtful layering can turn a beautiful room into a memorable experience, sharing her signature philosophy of embracing personality, warmth, and her mantra: no white walls.

Evening Celebration

Designed to Dine's Main Event Celebrating The Community Fund's 75th Anniversary

Friday, May 1, 6:00 - 10:00 PM, Woodway Country Club

Join us for an evening of cocktails, delicious strolling culinary stations, dancing to NYC's 9-piece live band Atomic Funk, and community impact — all set among an extraordinary candlelit viewing of 25+ designer tablescapes. Guests will enjoy plenty of time to explore the full tablescape display, sip from a four-hour open bar, discover surprise featured activations, and celebrate The Community Fund of Darien’s 75 years of impact.

The Community Fund is proud to honor Lisa Haas for 20 years of dedicated service and steady leadership advancing local philanthropy. Lisa has played an integral role in ensuring that donor generosity translates into measurable impact for our neighbors in need.
