About This Event
This spring, we are excited to launch The Drop, our reimagined annual fundraising event for The Learning Community, taking place Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 5:30pm - 8:30pm at Working Man Distillers in Pawtucket.
Designed as an after-hours gathering, The Drop will bring together more than 200 community, business, and civic leaders for an evening of connection, student voice, and shared purpose.
Rather than a traditional gala, the night unfolds through four short moments—called Drops—that bring the room together throughout the evening. Between these moments, guests mingle, enjoy food and drinks, and explore interactive Market experiences that keep the room energized and engaged.
This year, we’re proud to celebrate Hillary Salmons, a longtime champion of The Learning Community. As President of our Board of Directors, Hillary has helped guide the school through years of growth while advocating tirelessly for students and families across Rhode Island.
Funds raised during The Drop will provide critical, unrestricted support for the wraparound services that sustain our students’ academic, social, and emotional success.
One Night. Multiple Drops. A community coming together to support what matters most.
