The Ellie

On behalf of Golf Fights Cancer and the Kavalieros Family, we invite you to join us at the 10th celebration of The Good Guys Good Gals Invitational!

Friday, April 24, 2026 at The Yards

12:30 PM Registration & Lunch
2:00 PM Shotgun Start
5:00 PM Post-Golf Reception: Ellie After Dark
6:00 PM Championship Shoot-Out

Thanks to the amazing Ellie community, the impact of events held in her memory continues to grow! With more than $1.5 Million raised through The Good Guys Good Gals Invitational since 2011, significant progress has been made in researching and developing treatment options for children diagnosed with DIPG.

Through the Ellie Kavalieros DIPG Research Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, and, starting in 2024, UF Health, crucial resources have been directed to revolutionary procedures for tumor biopsies, the infrastructure of a pediatric vaccine trial for children with newly diagnosed and recurrent brain tumors, and groundbreaking work in immunotherapy.

The deadliest form of cancer, DIPG, currently has no effective treatment options. Researchers have made it clear that their work, conducted in Ellie’s memory, is critical, as solving DIPG is believed to hold the key to curing ALL types of cancer.

We couldn't think of a better legacy in Ellie's memory!
