A brand‑new partnership that brings wildlife, wonder, and hands‑on learning right into the heart of East Memphis.
Four afternoons this year, the Memphis Zoo’s expert curators will join us at The Front Porch Event Center for an unforgettable up‑close animal experience. Guests of all ages are invited to learn, explore, and connect with some of the most fascinating creatures in the Zoo’s education program.
What to Expect
Each event features a short, engaging presentation from Zoo curators, who will introduce guests to a rotating selection of animals and share stories, facts, and conservation insights.
Possible animal include:

Snakes: Louisiana pine snake, grey rat snake, ball python

Lizards: iguana, prehensile‑tailed skink, scheltopusik

Turtles & Tortoises: Indian star tortoise, pancake tortoise, box turtle

Invertebrates: emperor scorpion, hissing cockroach

Mammals: skunk, lesser hedgehog tenrec, three‑banded armadillo, nine‑banded armadillo
After the presentation, guests will have the chance to get up close and personal with the animals—an experience that sparks curiosity, builds connection, and creates pure joy.
