About This Event
Join us on Wednesday, October 23 at 5:30 PM for the Journey Toward Justice Reception, a celebration of pro bono service and LASCO's mission to provide civil legal aid and advocacy, combat injustice, and increase opportunities across Southeast and Central Ohio. Tickets are free, but pre-registration is encouraged!
At the Journey Toward Justice Reception, we will present five outstanding Legal Aid volunteers and one legal department with Pro Bono Excellence Awards:
Pro Bono Impact Award: Barry Kiser – Porter Wright Morris & Arthur
Exceptional Service by a Law Firm or Corporation: JPMorgan Chase
In the Trenches Award: Eric Henricks – Nationwide
Outstanding Service by an Individual: Anna Sanyal – Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP
New Attorney Pro Bono Award: Humphrey Kweminyi – Kegler Brown Hill + Ritter
Pro Bono Powerhouse Award: Barry Wolinetz – Wolintez | Horvath | Brown
