She Can Teach Cohort In-Person - Cincinnati

About This Event

For more than a decade, Jackie has equipped women from every background and denomination to handle Scripture with wisdom, courage, and depth. We're excited to bring this proven, life-giving equipping to women ministry leaders across the Vineyard USA.

If you’re ready to learn how to truly study the Bible, try your hand at teaching, or sharpen the gifts you already carry, this course is built for you.

You’ll discover how to study Scripture faithfully and craft a transformative 20-minute biblical message—from first observation to final delivery. And when you finish, you won’t just have a teaching in hand.

You’ll walk away with the confidence, clarity, and practical skills to teach God’s Word with power and purpose.

Session One: June 5th (6 -9 PM) & June 6th (9 -5 PM)

Session Two: July 10-11th, 2026

YOU CAN DO THIS! AND WE'RE IN IT WITH YOU!

This cohort will give you the confidence and skills to study and teach the Scriptures!

How to study the Bible: Together, we learn to observe, interpret, and apply a passage. You'll also be able to share the author's main idea clearly and concisely. (Elevator speech)

How to Bridge the Ancient Text With Your Audience: Effectively teaching requires knowing the Word and our world. We'll also discover a passage's movement (flow) and how to put it into a short outline with simple, concise sentences. (Don't fret; your classmates and I will get you there! You are not alone.)

How to Put Together A Biblical Message: The foundation is set (main idea), and load-bearing walls (outline) are up. Next, we learn how to make it into a house where others want to sit over a cup of coffee. This is called the art of preaching (homiletics). We'll learn how to use effective introductions, conclusions, transitions, illustrations, etc.

How to Deliver a Message: You'll learn strategies for standing up in front of others to teach—body, gestures, voice, movements, notes (no notes), etc. Again, your classmates are cheering you on, and so am I!

Deliver a Biblical Message: You will send me a 20-minute message, and I will give you feedback. From there, you will rework what's needed and prepare to present to your cohort on the last day. (Don't fret; it's more fun than it sounds!)

I've been training women to teach for 20 years. I promise I will be with you every step of the way. You will be ready to teach!

You can do it! Let's learn together!
