Participants will gather for an open, community-led conversation to share attitudes, beliefs, experiences, and perspectives related to hearing health, hearing loss, and the use of hearing protection devices among Native people.
Discussions will explore hearing health experiences, barriers to access, community needs and priorities, and community perspectives on improving hearing health. As a thank you for their time, attendees will receive a $30 gift card.
Discussion Details:
WHO: Indigenous/Native American community members residing in Texas, ages 18 and older.
Participants do not need to have a hearing diagnosis to participate.
WHERE: Participation is available both in person and virtually.
In Person: American Indians in Texas at the Spanish Colonial Missions, 1616 E. Commerce St., San Antonio, TX 78215
Virtual: Participants attending virtually will receive a Zoom link prior to the discussion.
