Christ Covenant Chicago Leviticus Regional

Registration ends Friday, 04/10/2026 4:00pm CST

About This Event

Leviticus is a critical book of the Bible, the main source for our understanding of sacrifice, atonement, priesthood, purity, and holiness.

Yet to many Christians, it's a closed book. It seems so complicated, not to mention entirely irrelevant.

In this weekend course, Peter Leithart introduces the fundamental themes of Leviticus: Sacrifice, Priesthood, Purity, and Holiness.

The course examines the intricate organization of the text of Leviticus, and the logic of its rituals and rules.

Dr. Leithart will also explore the typological dimensions of the book and the contemporary relevance of Levitical categories.

Each session will include both lecture and discussion of selected chapters of Leviticus.
