Please join us to celebrate our 10th anniversary in Pittsburgh,
generously hosted by Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC
Ten years ago, in 2016, we established our Pittsburgh office to better serve clients across Western Pennsylvania, with the critical help of partners like Duquesne University, which hosts our team on campus, University of Pittsburgh, and corporate and law firm sponsors and volunteers.
On November 10th, we will come together with supporters, law firm and higher education partners, special guest speaker Mel Blount, and our community of freed and exonerated people to celebrate the achievements of the Pittsburgh office and volunteers to bring wrongly convicted people home and advance the innocence movement. A decade of success with many more homecomings still to achieve.
Since we opened in 2009, the Pennsylvania Innocence Project has welcomed home 40 innocent people. Together, they lost more than 1,000 years of their lives to wrongful convictions.
Together, we are unlocking the truth and freeing the innocent.
Interested in becoming a sponsor for this special event?
We rely on gifts of sponsorship as an important and sustainable source of support for our continued work. Donors can have confidence in giving to the Project: The majority of every dollar we receive provides direct legal and reentry services at no cost to innocent clients and allows us to advocate for important policy changes that can prevent the wrongful conviction of innocent people in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and across Pennsylvania.
Learn more about the generous donors, corporations, and law firms that sponsored our 17th anniversary celebration in Philadelphia this spring - exceeding our goal to raise $500,000. Contact us at development@painnocence.org or 215-204-4255 for more information on sponsorship. Thank you for your consideration and for your support.
