About This Event
Join us for the 3rd Annual Gala to Fund a Cure for MS
hosted by Rampy MS Research Foundation
chaired by:
Jennifer Baumhoer, VP, DMM & Frozen Food
Get ready to dance for a cause at The Eighties Gala —an 80’s-themed costume gala with a mission! Hosted by the Rampy MS Research Foundation, a dedicated local nonprofit in Bentonville with 14 years of impact, this rad event raises crucial funds to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Known for their community-driven efforts, like the popular Trifest for MS endurance multisport event, the foundation channels its passion into every step of the way toward a cure. Join us for a night of themed eighties dancing, dinner, auctions and making a difference for multiple sclerosis!
The Eighties Gala is presented by Celebrate! Arkansas Magazine and hosted at state of the art Thaden School in the Great Hall.
Saturday, Oct 18th, will be a "totally awesome" night with cocktails, Matt Cooper-owner and chef at Conifer as well as James Beard Award finalist- curated dinner, creative dessert stations, a silent and live auction, unique dancing experiences, and of course an eighites costume contest. It'll be "radical."
Some auction items you can look forward to are 3 month floral subscription from The Centerpiece Floral and Home company, a sapphire signature custom piece by Underwoods Jewelers and crowd favortie, two luxury homes in Costa Rica that define 5 star accommodations, one beach side and one in the Arenal mountains.
Put on your "boogie shoes" and wear your neon, padded shoulders, denim, high waisted bottoms, mini skirts, tube socks and big hair.
You'll want to invite your friends and co-workers as we head to "dance party USA".
Prepare for a memorable night as we light up the dance floor, spin under the light up dance floor lights and move for those who have MS.
Embrace your "great eighties vibe" and join us as we "follow the DJ Brock leading the night." Don't be a "slacker" and "book it" to buy your tickets.

About the Rampy MS Research Foundation
MS stops people from moving. We are moving towards a cure.
- Nearly 1 million people are living with multiple sclerosis (MS) in the United States.
- MS is also the leading cause of disability among young adults.
- We’re building a first-of-its-kind research network focused exclusively on a cure with the top research scientists in the country.
Your support funds MS researchers at the University of Arkansas-Medical Sciences, Northwestern University and the University of California-San Francisco.
Scientists tell us we are closer than ever to finding a cure for multiple sclerosis (MS). It's simply a matter of how quickly we can fund a cure. Join us.
