About This Event
On Monday, November 9, 2026, Everstrong will host the Seattle premiere of The Right Track, a documentary following survivors and advocates in the fight to end sex trafficking across North America. The film centers the Survivor Model — an approach that decriminalizes prostituted individuals and emphasizes prevention while imposing strict penalties on pimps, traffickers, and buyers.
This evening includes a film screening and panel discussion featuring local and national survivor leaders and Everstrong staff. Seattle has the second-highest rate of juvenile sex trafficking in the country, including what happens out in the open on Aurora Avenue. Too often, our civic conversations about trafficking happen without the people who know it best. This screening and panel discussion put survivor voices at the center, asking what our communities need to do to protect young people long before they ever reach the track.
At this event, we hope confronting the costs of trafficking to real people will emphasize the urgency of prevention. Everstrong shapes our approach to prevention by listening to survivors’ personal accounts of how exploitation begins. Our program equips the trusted adults in kids’ lives with resources that bring prevention to their own communities.
Content warning: This film includes survivor accounts of sex trafficking, sexual violence, and child exploitation, as well as street footage of commercial sexual exploitation and partial nudity. Generally suitable for ages 15+; parent or guardian discretion advised.
If you or someone you know needs support, call the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888 or text "help" to 233722.
