The Seminary Conference 2027: The Mystery of Holy Communion

Our goal is to give you a taste of the Seminary experience during the Conference. Together, we will celebrate the Feast of Saint Photios the Great; attend the keynote lecture by the Most Reverend Metropolitan Demetrius of America, who will be traveling from Cobleskill, New York, to Etna, California, for this special event; participate in discussions with clergymen; and tour the many Orthodox institutions in Etna, including the Saint Photios Orthodox Theological Seminary, the Saint Gregory Palamas Monastery, the Convent of Saint Elizabeth the Grand Duchess of Russia, and more!

Registration Pricing

• In‑Person Attendance (first two members of a household): $150 per person
• Additional household members: $100 each
• Online Attendance: Free (donation encouraged)

In-person attendance at the conference will be limited to individuals aged 15 and older.

Travel and Lodging

The best airport to fly into is Rogue Valley International–Medford Airport (MFR) in Medford, Oregon. This is a one-and-a-half-hour drive from Etna, California, and it is the airport closest to us. You can rent a car in Medford, or the Seminary can provide an airport shuttle on certain days and at certain times.

Lodging in Etna can be rented through Airbnb, the Bluebird Inn, and the Etna Motel. Limited housing may also be made available by the Seminary and our local parishioners to accommodate prospective students and early registrants.
