Registration ends Wednesday, 10/21/2026 6:00pm EDT

About This Event

Ever wondered why some apps and websites feel effortless while others leave you frustrated? That difference is UX—user experience—and it's the craft of designing digital products around the people who actually use them. Join UX strategist and educator Cathline Marshall at The Spark for a welcoming, hands-on introduction to the fundamentals of great design.

No prior experience needed. This class is built for curious beginners, career-changers, and anyone who wants to understand how thoughtful design turns good ideas into intuitive, human-centered experiences.

Cathline brings extensive experience leading UX strategy, design, and research for Fortune 500 and global brands across industries worldwide. She has led research teams at Ernst & Young's Innovation and Design Studio, built a UX research dashboard for Sirona Medical, and driven UX roadmaps and design-thinking workshops at Elsevier. An adjunct professor of UX design and research at NYU–SPS, she holds certifications from Human Factors International, the Interaction Design Foundation, and Pace University (CUA, CSM).
