Shred It & Protect It: A Senior Safety Workshop

This workshop will cover practical steps to protect yourself from identity theft and fraud, including why shredding old mail and paperwork matters, how to make the switch to paperless billing, and how to recognize and avoid spam calls and common scams targeting seniors.

Our expert panel includes:

• Sheriff Jackie Salvator, offering guidance on staying safe from fraud

• Raena Baldwin, founder of Fresh Start Home Services

• Brittany Gillis, Senior Commissioner for the City of Hudson

• Columbia County Clerk Holly Tanner, founder of the KISS Program (Keeping Identities of Seniors Safe), which protects seniors' identities while helping them safely shred sensitive materials
